Our colonic hydrotherapy work began in 2005 after years of studying and practicing alternative and natural health options. Our formal training commenced and the rest is history. We gained our qualifications and became International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) members and meeting USA, FDA registration requirements.

Clinic Indulge opened for business in 2006, Retreat Indulge followed soon after and it has developed into a thriving, highly respected and much enjoyed sanctuary for our many clients. There is significant demand for all our services but the highest growth has been in colonic hydrotherapy, spa treatments and Retreat linked experiences for detoxifying, weddings and corporate events.

NZICH was created as a result of a desire to share this natural treatment option, education and business with others. Significant people involved in NZICH have evolved from combined years of professional roles in business and the community that involved caring for others, education, leadership and management. They felt that this health option could be delivered in a powerful manner with the combination of their many talents and skills.

Previously, MBA, Master of Education, School Principal, Business Owner & Developer, Manager, Social Worker, Massage Therapist & Beauty Therapy.
	Carol is a certified Colonic Hydrotherapist and member of the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT). She is an educator for “purify” a Colonic Hydrotherapy System. P reviously, Bachelor of Teaching, School Teacher, Social Worker, Massage Therapist, Beauty Therapy and Caregiver.
	John is a certified Colon Hydrotherapist and member of the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT). Previously, Cultural Facilitator, Caregiver, Management Studies, Therapeutic Massage and Meditation.

The immensely powerful effects of Colonic Hydrotherapy and their collective experience will be shared with students during the process of the training. There will also be ample practical opportunities to become adept, safe and professional at administering colonic hydrotherapy throughout the programme of study.

We believe cleansing and detoxifying is the paramount essence of health and well being, leading to enhanced vitality and exceptional health. Colonic Hydrotherapy is an effective and natural detoxifying therapy that supports and assists clients to regain and improve their quality of health. The training programme will begin with preparatory study, fulfilling the associated requirements (please consult the Minimum Requirements Document). Followed by theory and the in depth practical aspects of Colonic Hydrotherapy, a plethora of associated information and knowledge related to the digestive system. Then, comprehensive training on how to use, care and maintain “purify” our preferred colonic hydrotherapy system. The theory required to successfully complete the examination and qualify with NZICH Level 1 Certificate. We will also offer extra information and guidance with regard to starting your own business, marketing strategies, nutritional food cleansing as well as external therapies such as Infrared Sauna Therapy. The training programme will also give you the opportunity to experience cleansing including colonics, infra red sauna and juice cleansing as part of the training package.
